Canton woman wins Club prize

LANSING, March 13, 2008 – It was a lucky day for Mary Fuller when she won $10,000 playing Club Keno!

The winner, who matched nine of 10 numbers on a 10-Spot game with a 2X Kicker to win the prize, said she didn’t even realize she had won.

She plans to put her winnings in the bank. The easy pick ticket was purchased at Plymouth Pub, 1507 Ann Arbor Rd., in Plymouth Township.

Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2007, the contribution to schools was $748.9 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $14.3 billion to education in Michigan.
