LANSING, November 5, 2007 – A lucky Clinton Township player has claimed a $10,000 prize after he scratched a winning $1,000,000 Lucky Stars Instant ticket.

Thomas Randa was “elated” with the win.  He plans to use the prize money to pay bills.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at T’s Petro, 36511 Garfield, in Clinton Township.

$1,000,000 Lucky Stars is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at nearly 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
