Dorr man wins big

LANSING, October 17, 2007 – A very lucky player has claimed his $250,000 Mega Millions prize!

Kurt Duiven matched all five white ball numbers, without matching the Mega ball, in the October 9 drawing to win the big prize.

The lucky winner said he plays the Lottery “occasionally” and plans to invest his prize money.

The lucky easy pick ticket was purchased at Hillcrest Food and Fuel, 1612 142nd Ave., in Dorr.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at nearly 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
