LANSING, August 31, 2007 – Andrey Minty was surprised after matching nine of 10 numbers on his Club Keno ticket.
The normal payout for the prize is $5,000, but Minty bet $2 a draw and the Kicker was 2X, which made him $20,000 richer! Minty also matched zero numbers out of 10 two other times, bringing his winning total to a whopping $20,020!
The winning own pick ticket was hid in a personal hygene case before it was cashed in at the Lottery’s Sterling Heights office. Minty plans to invest the prize money.
The winning ticket was purchased at The Oxford Tap, 36 S. Washington, in Oxford.
Club Keno offers 37 different ways to play and win. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time. Players win Club Keno by matching some or all of the numbers they have selected to the numbers drawn. The more numbers matched, the more the player wins.
