LANSING, June 18 2007 – The Lottery is ready to pay out some big prizes!  4,527 prizes to be exact!  The winning Super Raffle numbers were drawn today.

The two $2 million winning Super Raffle tickets were sold in Livonia and Sylvan Lake.

“Our players have waited for this day and we’re anxious to make so many Michigan players big winners!” said Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters.

The 25 $100,000 prizes were sold in Bedford, New Boston, Southfield, Coldwater, Kimball, Novi, Westland, Portage, Mount Clemens, Waterford, Brighton, Stevensville, Dearborn, Grand Rapids, Wixom, Detroit, Garden City, and Dewitt.  Two tickets were sold in both Shelby Township and Adrian.  Three tickets were sold in Warren.

In addition to the $2 million and $100,000 prizes; 4,500 numbers were drawn for prizes of $500 each.

The two $2 million winning numbers will be broadcast during tonight’s Lottery evening draw.  A complete list of all winning numbers is now available on the Lottery’s Web site https://www.michiganlottery.com/ and at Lottery regional offices.  Tickets can be validated at any Lottery terminal.

The Super Raffle game sold only 250,000 tickets at all Lottery terminals across Michigan beginning May 7, 2007.  Each ticket sold contained a unique six-digit number from 000001 to 250000.  The 4,527 Raffle tickets were randomly selected.

The Super Raffle offered players the best chance ever to win with odds of just 1 in 55 to win at least $500.

The next raffle, a $20 Millionaire Raffle, goes on sale Monday, June 25 at 6 a.m. at all Lottery terminals.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
