LANSING, March 1, 2007 – A very lucky Battle Creek man struck it rich when he matched all five Fantasy 5 numbers in the Feb. 26 drawing.  The man claimed his $100,000 prize at Lottery Central today.

The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, said his heart was in his throat after learning of his good fortune.  He has big plans for his prize money.  He’s going to remodel his house, purchase a boat and a four wheeler, and “get everything” he and his family wants.

The winner purchased the lucky own pick ticket at West Point Party Store, 3796 Michigan Ave. W., in Battle Creek.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
