LANSING, February 27, 2007 – Elias Rahmon of Davison claimed a $122,975 prize.  Rahmon matched all five Fantasy 5 numbers on Feb. 25.

Rahmon’s wife checked the lucky winning ticket at four in the morning and promptly woke her husband up to tell him the good news.  They were both ecstatic!  The winner plans to pay his debts off and save the rest for retirement.

In his free time, Rahmon enjoys home projects.  His latest was building barbeques and trailers.

The winner purchased the lucky easy pick ticket at Nikolai’s Neighborhood Party Store, 1113 W. Pasadena Ave., in Flint.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2006, the contribution was $688 million.
