LANSING, December 18, 2006 – A great game is about to get even better! Beginning today, Club Keno drawings will be conducted every four minutes instead of every five.
With drawings every four minutes, players will have 60 more chances to play and win every day.
“Club Keno has been extremely popular with Michigan Lottery players,” Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters said. “We are pleased to offer even more opportunities for players to participate in this fun and exciting game.”
In addition to the increase in daily drawings, the drawing animations on the Club Keno monitors will have a more simple design, focused on displaying all 80 available numbers so players can more easily track their numbers.
Club Keno is offered at over 2,000 Michigan restaurants, bars and bowling centers. The game offers 37 different ways to play and win and with Kicker, up to a $20 million top prize. Players can wager $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20 per drawing and tickets can be purchased for up to 20 drawings at a time.
Immediately before each Club Keno drawing, a wheel spins on the Club Keno monitor selects a Kicker number of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10. Players can select the Kicker box on their play slip and pay $1 for each dollar originally wagered. Wins on regular Club Keno drawings will be multiplied by the Kicker number, allowing players the chance to win up to 10 times their original prize amount.
