LANSING, October 11, 2006 – A very lucky woman from West Branch didn’t believe her eyes when the Super Red Bingo ticket she scratched was worth $12,000!

Ruth Eckert, who enjoys crocheting, purchased the lucky winning ticket at Sunrise Store #14, 2447 W. Tawas, in West Branch.

Super Red Bingo is just one of many Michigan Lottery Instant tickets available at more than 11,000 Lottery retailers statewide.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
