Detroit man claims $10,000 prize

LANSING, October 11, 2006 – A very lucky hi-low driver from Detroit is $10,000 richer, thanks to the Mega Millions numbers that came up on August 12.

This is the largest win to date for Thomas Kibler, a regular Lottery player for the last 31 years.  He plans to pay bills with his Lottery winnings.

The lucky easy pick ticket was purchased at Sunoco at Ford & Wyoming, 10419 Ford Rd., in Dearborn.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at more than 11,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
