Longtime player wins big

LANSING, June 22, 2006 – Chriss Benjamin is a very lucky man!  He won $10,000 after matching four white balls, plus the Mega ball in the February 10 Mega Millions drawing.

The lucky winner said he was going through a stack of old tickets and was “excited” to find a big winner after so much time had passed.

He has been playing the Lottery for about 20 years and enjoys snowmobiling, four-wheeling and fishing.

The lucky easy pick ticket was purchased at Reading Amaco, 603 S. Main St., in Reading.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at more than 10,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
