LANSING, May 26, 2006 – A very lucky winner is $7.3 million richer after matching all six Classic Lotto 47 numbers in the May 24 drawing.

The lucky winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket at 7-11 #33143, 49060 Dequindre, in Shelby Township.

Classic Lotto 47 drawings are conducted at 7:29 pm every Wednesday and Saturday night.  Jackpots start at $1 million and grow by at least $100,000 each drawing.

All proceeds from the Lottery are contributed to the state School Aid Fund which supports kindergarten through 12th grade public education in Michigan.  In fiscal year 2005, the contribution was $667.6 million.
