LANSING, March 13, 2003 – A lucky Muskegon woman went wild with excitement upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Casino Wild" instant ticket to reveal a $100,000 top prize!

"I was shocked to learn I had won a top prize," the winner exclaimed.  "I scratched the ticket off and discovered it was a top-prize winner, but I thought my eyes must be playing tricks on me!  So, I asked the store clerk to double-check it for me."

The lucky winner, who requested anonymity, purchased the winning ticket at Wesco #18, 1858 Ruddiman Dr., in North Muskegon.

She said she kept the winning ticket clipped to the side of the refrigerator to ensure its safety prior to turning it in at Lottery headquarters in Lansing.  The winner, who enjoys playing bingo and working on the computer in her spare time, plans to use her winnings as a down payment on a house.

She added the following words of encouragement to other Lottery hopefuls: "Keep trying because you just never know when you will win!"
