LANSING, February 21, 2003 – Amy Bean of Jackson had a super day upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Super 6s" instant game ticket to reveal a $6,000 top prize!

Bean, purchased the winning ticket at Spring Arbor Party Store, 8000 Spring Arbor Road, in Spring Arbor.

"I scratched off the ticket and knew right away I was a top-prize winner," said Bean.  "I immediately took the ticket back to the store where I bought it, and had the clerk double check it for me."

The lucky 26-year-old winner, who works as production operator at Collins and Aikman, said she kept the winning ticket with her at all times prior to turning it in at Lottery headquarters in Lansing.

Bean, who enjoys creating art, reading and spending time with her sons in her spare time, said she plans to use part of her winnings to pay bills and spend the rest on her sons.

"Super 6s" is just one of many Michigan Lottery instant tickets available at more than 9,000 Lottery retailers statewide.
