LANSING, January 9, 2003 – A lucky Sawyer man was happy to learn he had matched all five numbers in the October 29 Michigan Rolldown drawing to win a $13,891 jackpot prize! The winning numbers for that drawing were: 7, 17, 23, 28 and 29.

In total for the October 29, 2002 drawing, 15,603 winners shared $48,235 in prizes. In addition to the jackpot winner, 65 winners matched four numbers to win an $87 prize; 1,644 winners matched three numbers and to win a $9 prize; and 13,893 winners matched two numbers to win the $1 prize.

The 38-year-old machine operator at Arlington Metals learned he held a jackpot-winning ticket after obtaining a winning number report from a local Lottery retailer. The jackpot-winning "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Dunes Auto Truck Plaza, 6276 Sawyer Road, in Sawyer.

"I was surprised that I won a jackpot prize," exclaimed the winner. "I am so happy and thrilled to win!"

Prior to turning the winning ticket in at the Lottery
