LANSING, December 26, 2002 – Linda Dubiel of Clinton Township is a bit richer today after winning an $8,037 share of the December 19 Michigan Rolldown jackpot. The other jackpot winning ticket was sold in Fraser, but that prize has not yet been claimed. The winning numbers for the December 19 drawing were: 7, 9, 10, 19 and 23.
The total jackpot prize pool for the December 19 drawing was $16,074, so each jackpot winner collected $8,037 before taxes. In total for this drawing, 19,371 winners shared $56,837 in prizes. In addition to the two jackpot winners, 74 winners matched four numbers to win an $89 prize; 2,126 winners matched three numbers to win an $8 prize; and 17,169 winners matched two numbers to win the $1 prize.
"I saw the winning numbers while watching television on WDIV-TV 4," said Dubiel. "I was very surprised to learn I had won!"
Dubiel, a homemaker who enjoys spending her free time reading and driving her 1947 Mercury street rod, purchased the winning "easy pick" ticket at Gratiot Drugs, 36646 S. Gratiot Ave., in Clinton Township.
The 58-year-old winner said she kept the winning ticket in her purse prior to claiming her prize at the Lottery
