"I watched the Michigan Rolldown drawing on WDIV-TV 4, and compared the winning numbers to those on my ticket," the winner said. " I was excited to see that I had won the jackpot!"
The lucky man, who requested anonymity, said he kept the winning ticket hidden in his garage to ensure its safety before turning it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Dearborn Heights. The 44-year-old winner, who works for the City of Westland and enjoys riding motorcycles in his free time, added that he plans to use part of his winnings to pay bills and have fun with the remainder of his prize.
