LANSING, July 25, 2002 – A lucky Fife Lake lady revealed all the right words upon scratching off a Michigan Lottery "Cashword" instant ticket to win a $35,000 top prize!

The winning ticket was purchased at Quick Sav Food Store #21, 7501 US-131, in Fife Lake.

The lucky 73-year-old homemaker, who requested anonymity, said she only occasionally plays Michigan Lottery games, so she was pleased to win such a large prize!

"When my daughter goes shopping for me, sometimes I will have her buy a few Lottery tickets for me," the winner said. "It still hasn’t hit me yet that I won $35,000. When I realized I had a winning ticket, I just kept saying: ‘It can’t be true!’"

The winner, who enjoys working around her home and relaxing in her free time, said she plans to save her winnings for the future.
