LANSING, June 14, 2002 – All the right letters fell into place for Ossama Hammoud of Dearborn when he recently scratched a Michigan Lottery "Good Ol’ Bingo" instant ticket to reveal a $25,000 top prize!

The winning ticket was purchased at BP Gas, 14545 Ford Road, in Dearborn.

"I scratched off the ticket when I got home from the store," Hammoud said. "I could hardly believe it when I saw the $25,000 prize!"

The lucky 29-year-old, who is a self-employed baker, said he kept the winning ticket in his pocket until he turned it in at the Lottery’s regional office in Detroit the following day. He added that he would like to use his winnings to take a trip to Japan to watch a championship soccer game.

"Good Ol’ Bingo" is just one of many instant games available at more than 9,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
