The lucky "easy pick" ticket was purchased at Andy’s Party Store, 4716 Greenfield Road, in Dearborn.
"I found out I won by watching the drawing on television," the winner said. "I was so excited when I realized I had won the jackpot!"
The 72-year-old retiree, who requested anonymity, said he kept the ticket safely in his pocket before claiming his prize at the Lottery’s regional office in Dearborn Heights. He added that he plans to save his winnings for the future.
