LANSING, March 25, 1999 – A Macomb Township man really cashed in when he won the $100,000 top prize in the Michigan Lottery’s Cash 5 game!

The winner, who requested anonymity, matched all five numbers – 3, 5, 6, 22 and 27 – in the March 19 drawing.  The winning Cash 5 "easy pick" ticket was purchased at D & M Party Store, 16661 25 Mile Road, in Macomb.

"I picked up a winning number report and checked my ticket at home on Saturday night," the winner said.  "I didn’t believe it at first, in fact, I still don’t!  But, sometimes you can just feel when you’re getting lucky!"

The Macomb Township man said he has been playing Michigan Lottery games for the past 10 years, and he especially enjoys Cash 5 and the Daily 4 game.  The lucky winner said he plans to save part of his winnings, and, although he hasn’t quite decided what to do with the rest, he said it will "definitely go to good use!"

Cash 5 drawings are conducted every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Odds to win the $100,000 top prize are one in 575,757.  Tickets are available at more than 6,400 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.
