Starting today, Lottery players have the opportunity to buy four different holiday-themed instant games. This season’s instant games are:

  • Gift Tag Greetings – Each $1 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $1 up to $500, with $5.5 million in total cash prizes available. This game can be used as a gift tag and is available in five designs.
  • Season’s Greetings – Each $2 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $2 up to $10,000, with $10 million in total cash prizes available.
  • Make It Rein – Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000, with $18.5 million in total cash prizes available.
  • The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year – Each $10 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $10 up to $500,000, with $29.5 million in total cash prizes available.

The holidays may be a stressful time for some people, and it is best to avoid gaming activities when stressed. Macomb County Woman Wins $1.72 Million Lotto 47 Jackpot from the Michigan Lottery

A Macomb County woman who always had a feeling she would win big has won a $1.72 million Lotto 47 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery!

The lucky 62-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched the winning Lotto 47 numbers on Sept. 25: 04-12-25-33-41-47. She bought her winning ticket online at MichiganLottery.com.

“I play Lotto 47 online often and I always had a feeling I would win the jackpot one day,” said the player. “I was so excited when I saw the email from the Michigan Lottery notifying me of my $1.72 million jackpot win! I called my son and daughter-in-law to tell them the news, but I had a hard time getting the words out because I was so stunned.”

“The power of positive thinking paid off for this lucky player, who won the $1.7 million Lotto 47 jackpot,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “Dreaming about life-changing jackpots and how they could impact your life is fun, but it is important to play responsibly. Our online games feature several tools that help promote safe, responsible, play.”

The lucky player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $1.2 million rather than annuity payments for the full amount. With her winnings, she plans to buy a house and help her family.

Each Lotto 47 play is only $1. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and that grows until someone wins it. For an additional $1 per play, Double Play may be added to a Lotto 47 ticket, giving players a second chance to win up to $1.5 million in the nightly Double Play drawing. For an additional $1 per game, players may add EZMatch to their ticket for a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Lotto 47 drawings take place on Wednesday and Saturday at 7:29 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at a retailer or online at MichiganLottery.com until 7:08 p.m. on the day of the drawing.

Ionia County Man Wins $148,443 Club Keno The Jack Prize from the Michigan Lottery

Marc Finkbiner holding $148,443 check Club Keno The Jack has proven to be exceptionally lucky for an Ionia County man who claimed a $29,048 prize in 2015 and now a $148,443 prize!

Marc Finkbiner, of Portland, matched his easy pick The Jack numbers – 05-19-29-32-46-59-78-80 – to eight of the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn in draw 2382182. He bought his winning ticket at Hot Shots Tavern, located at 137 Kent Street in Portland. Portland is about 20 miles northwest of Lansing.

“I was at Hot Shots Tavern with my wife playing Club Keno, and I won $3 on one ticket, so I reinvested my winnings and purchased another one,” said Finkbiner. “I was watching the drawings and saw that all eight of my The Jack numbers were drawn and when the jackpot reset to $10,000, I knew I really won! When I showed my wife the ticket and told her I’d just won $148,443 she was amazed!

“I won a $29,048 Club Keno The Jack prize back in 2015, so I am thrilled that I won again. Even though I’ve already won twice, I plan to keep playing because I believe there are more big wins in store for me!”

Finkbiner, 66, visited Lottery headquarters to claim his big prize. He plans to save his winnings for retirement.

“Winning this prize puts me one step closer to retirement,” said Finkbiner.

The Jack is a Club Keno add-on game that players may add to their Club Keno wager for as little as $1 per draw. With The Jack, players get eight easy pick numbers to match to the Club Keno numbers drawn. Players may win prizes ranging from $1 to the jackpot. The jackpot starts at $10,000 and grows until it is won. To win the jackpot, players must match all eight numbers.

Club Keno may be played at Lottery retailers across the state. Drawings take place every three and a half minutes. Results and live drawings may be found online at MichiganLottery.com.

Gladwin Woman Wins $300,000 Playing Michigan Lottery’s Top Secret Cashword Instant Game

Winning TicketA Gladwin woman thought she won $1,000 playing the Top Secret Cashword instant game, until she scanned the ticket on the Michigan Lottery app and found out she’d actually won $300,000!

Kaylynn Totten, 47, bought her winning ticket at Hunters Paradise, located at 9359 North M 18 in Gladwin. Gladwin is about 35 miles northwest of Midland.

“When I scratched the ticket, I initially thought I won $1,000,” said Totten. “I scanned it on the Michigan Lottery app to double check and was in disbelief when the amount of $300,000 came up on the screen! I took the ticket back into the store and had them scan it to make sure it was real. I am still waiting for it to hit me that I won $300,000!”

Totten visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim her big prize. With her winnings, she plans to buy a car and a house.

Players have won more than $29 million playing the Top Secret Cashword game, which launched Dec. 2023. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $7 million in prizes remain, including 37 $1,000 prizes.

Canton Lottery Club Wins $384,709 Fantasy 5 Jackpot from the Michigan Lottery

The Jay Ambe lottery club members, Michael Rawson, 68, and Jitendrakumar Patel, 60, bought the winning ticket at Charlie’s Liquor Store, located at 129 South Venoy Road in Westland. They won the jackpot when their numbers matched the winning Fantasy 5 numbers Sept. 12: 08-16-20-21-28.

Rawson said the two are friends who have been playing the Lottery together for a while.

The Jay Ambe lottery club members recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim their big prize. Each member received about $192,000 before tax withholdings. With their winnings, the club members plan to take a cruise and invest.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. For an additional $1 per play, Double Play may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a second chance to win up to $110,000 in the nightly Double Play drawing. Players may win prizes in the regular nightly drawing, the Double Play drawing, or both. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot that starts at $100,000.

Fantasy 5 drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at a retailer or online at MichiganLottery.com until 7:08 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
