Daughter’s errand nets Mom $300,000!

Bingo Fever IG#462She likes to play Michigan Lottery Bingo games, but she wasn’t leaving the house that day. That’s when the player, who wishes to remain anonymous, decided to give her daughter the money to purchase a Bingo Fever ticket for her.

The player then forgot all about the ticket until she received a phone call from her daughter the next day. “We had just talked so I asked her why she was calling me back,” Mom said.

It seems that daughter had scratched off the ticket and had some news “Mama, you just hit!” her daughter informed her. Mom was in disbelief when she heard that the ticket was worth $300,000.

“I go online to the Michigan Lottery Web site to check on the top remaining ticket prizes,” said the winner. “I only play the tickets that have big prizes left, but I still couldn’t believe it when she told me I’d won $300,000.”

The winner intends to buy a new home and car, and some nice things for her daughter!

The winning ticket was purchased at Franklin Big Save located at 747 S. Division Ave. in Grand Rapids.

Byron Center winner screams over winnings!

Michigan Lottery Mega MillionsDonna Cobb of Byron Center claimed her Mega Millions prize of $250,000…after she stopped screeching and calmed down.

Cobb was in her basement when she realized she matched five white ball numbers for the Mega Millions drawing on March 26 and proceeded to scream only to strike the fear of the unknown into her husband’s thoughts. He assumed there was another leak in the basement. Curious to find out, he went down stairs and saw a smile on her face and the Lottery ticket in her hand. Needless to say, Cobb did not need to explain much to her husband.

The winning ticket was sold at Meijer #36 located at 5500 Clyde Park Ave. SW in Wyoming.

Spur of the moment decision leads to “Cash for Life” win!

$2 Cash For Life Ticket (Game #496)The player went to the store just to kill time, but while he was there he thought of his buddy, who had won $1,000 playing the Cash for Life Instant ticket.

With that in mind, he decided to purchase the ticket and try his luck. That spur of the moment decision proved to be luckier than he had ever hoped by making him the fifth Cash for Life jackpot winner. “I didn’t believe it at first. I never thought I’d win this much,” said the lucky player.

“Honey, guess what I won”!

Wild Time Mania IG 469A Clinton Township man stopped his wife as she was walking through the room with a basket of laundry and asked her this question: guess what I won? Then he proceeded to tell her that he’d just won $300,000 on a Wild Time Mania Instant Lottery ticket. She was stunned and a little skeptical, “I thought it could be $30,000 but not $300,000,” she said.

Grandchildrens’ birth dates are lucky for $100,000 winner!

Every night Lois Decker and her husband Gerald meet in front of their television set to watch a game show and then look for the results of the Lottery drawings. On Good Friday, Decker finally saw what she had been looking for:  the five numbers of the Fantasy 5 drawing matched the five numbers on her ticket. She had just won $100,000!

“It was so exciting, I screamed and cried,” said Decker.

The Taylor woman used her grandchildren’s birth dates as her lucky numbers. She plans to use the money to eliminate her debts and pay off her truck.
