Lucky Stop Leads to Wayne County Man Winning $404,103 Fantasy 5 Jackpot

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched the Fantasy 5 numbers drawn on Sept. 28 – 06-09-13-26-36 – to win the big prize. He bought his winning ticket at Amouri’s Grand Foods, located at 7225 East Jefferson in Detroit.

“I knew the owner of that store years ago, and I happened to be driving by so I stopped to see if he was still the owner,” said the player. “I didn’t see him in the store, but since I was there I decided to buy a few Lottery tickets.

“Even though I didn’t see my buddy, I’m really glad I stopped and bought that Fantasy 5 ticket! You can never tell when good fortune is with you.”

The player visited Lottery headquarters on Wednesday to claim his prize. He still is deciding how he will spend his winnings.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot that starts at $100,000. Fantasy 5 drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m. Tonight’s Fantasy 5 jackpot is $105,000.

Oakland County Man Wins $4 Million Playing the Michigan Lottery’s $100,000,000 Diamonds Instant Game

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his lucky ticket at the Redford Mini Stop, located at 26307 Grand River Avenue in Redford.

The big winner visited Lottery headquarters today to claim his prize. He chose to receive his winnings at a one-time lump sum payment of about $2.5 million rather than an annuity.

Players have won more than $116 million playing $100,000,000 Diamonds, which debuted in September 2014. Each $30 ticket gives players a chance to win prizes ranging from $30 up to $4 million. More than $83 million in prizes remain, including: 153 $4,000 prizes, and 3,366 $1,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.

In 2015, Lottery players won more than $722.1 million playing instant games.

Lotto 47 Jackpot Climbs to $5.8 Million

Lotto 47 with EZMatchA Michigan Lottery player’s bank account could get a big boost if they win tonight’s $5.8 million Lotto 47 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery. To win the jackpot, players must match all six of the numbers drawn.

If a player wins Wednesday’s Lotto 47 jackpot, it would mark the ninth time the game’s jackpot has been won in 2016. Lotto 47 jackpot winners have won more than $14.1 million in 2016.

Each Lotto 47 play is only $1. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and that grows until someone wins it. Confirmed zombie sightings have been reported across the state at stores selling the Michigan Lottery’s newest instant game:  The Walking Dead.

Members of the public are able to see the zombies up close by purchasing the $2 instant game tickets inspired by the popular AMC television show.  Players won’t need the help of Rick, Glenn, or Daryl to deal with the zombies on the instant game tickets, but they should be prepared to win up to $30,000.

The new game, first available today, offers nearly $6 million in prizes ranging from $2 up to $30,000.

Entry Up Giveaway Gives Michigan Lottery Players Chance to Win $20,000 Prize

entryup_fbfeatureimageThe Michigan Lottery’s new Entry Up Giveaway is giving players a chance to win a $20,000 prize by playing online games in October.

Beginning Tuesday, for every $5 played on online Lottery games, players will earn one entry into a drawing for a $20,000 cash prize, and one entry into a daily drawing for $100 in online bonus free play. The winner of the $20,000 prize will be selected on Nov. 2 in a random drawing.

Players also may earn bonus entries into the Entry Up Giveaway. Select days during October will give players double entries into the daily and grand prize giveaways. Additionally, new players will receive one bonus entry for the daily and grand prize giveaways when they sign up for an online Lottery account. Players who make their first successful deposit online also will receive one bonus entry into the daily and grand prize giveaways. There is no limit on the number entries a player may earn.

Michigan Lottery players have a chance to win up to $500,000 instantly playing online. Players may also win prizes ranging from $1 up to multimillion dollar jackpots playing Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto 47, and Fantasy 5 online.
