$3.4 Million Lotto 47 Jackpot Won; Winning Ticket Bought in Warren

A Michigan Lottery player’s bank account is going to get a big boost from a $3.5 million Lotto 47 jackpot.

The winning ticket matched all six Lotto 47 numbers drawn Saturday: 06-07-12-16-18-46. The winning ticket was bought at the Victory Inn, located at 28950 Mound Road in Warren.

The lucky winner from Saturday’s drawing should contact the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to make an appointment to claim the prize at the Lottery headquarters in Lansing. Lotto 47 tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.

Each Lotto 47 play is only $1. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and that grows until someone wins it. For an additional $1 per play, Double Play may be added to a Lotto 47 ticket, giving players a second chance to win up to $1.5 million in the nightly Double Play drawing. For an additional $1 per game, players may add EZMatch to their ticket for a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Lotto 47 drawings take place on Wednesday and Saturday at 7:29 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at a retailer or online at MichiganLottery.com until 7:08 p.m. on the day of the drawing.

Beginner’s luck helped a Macomb County woman win a $100,000 Powerball prize from the Michigan Lottery.

Barb Brown, of Clinton Township, matched four of the white balls and the Powerball – 09-12-15-31-60 PB: 02 – in the Jan. 29 drawing to win a $50,000 prize. Thanks to the Powerplay, her prize was multiplied by two for a $100,000 prize. She bought her winning ticket online at MichiganLottery.com.

“I don’t play regularly, but saw the jackpot getting up there so I logged on and bought a ticket,” said Brown. “The next day, I was going through my email and had a message stating I had won a prize, but it didn’t say how much.

“I logged in to my account and a pop-up came up that said I won $100,000! My first thought was: ‘Is this real?’ Me and my husband were both in shock!”

The player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim the big prize. She plans to save her winnings.

“Powerball plays may be purchased for $2 each at Lottery retailers across the state and online at MichiganLottery.com. A “Power Play” option that multiplies non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times to a maximum of $2 million may be added to any Powerball play for only $1.

Livingston County Woman Wins $321,313 Club Keno The Jack Prize from the Michigan Lottery

A Livingston County woman is looking forward to a new home after winning $321,313 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Club Keno The Jack game.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched her easy pick The Jack numbers – 01-03-07-18-24-26-36-54 – to eight of the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn in draw 1792105. She bought her winning ticket at the Northside Pub, located at 2353 Holton Road in Muskegon.

With her winnings, the player 55-year-old plans to buy a new home and then save the remainder for her retirement.

The Jack is a Club Keno add-on game that players may add to their Club Keno wager for as little as $1 per draw. With The Jack, players get eight easy pick numbers to match to the Club Keno numbers drawn. Players may win prizes ranging from $1 to the jackpot. The jackpot starts at $10,000 and grows until it is won. To win the jackpot, players must match all eight numbers.

A Detroit woman plans to start a business after winning a $100,000 Powerball prize from the Michigan Lottery.

Shauntenese Barnett, 32, matched four of the white balls and the Powerball – 09-12-15-31-60 PB: 02 – in the Jan. 29 drawing to win a $50,000 prize. Thanks to the Powerplay, her prize was multiplied by two for a $100,000 prize. She bought her winning ticket at the Citgo gas station, located at 21815 West 10 Mile Road in Southfield.

“I play Mega Millions and Powerball regularly,” said Barnett. “I had a handful of tickets to check, and this was the second one I scanned. I knew it was a big winner, but had no idea it was $100,000!”

The player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim the big prize. She plans to use her winnings to start a dental business, take a vacation, and then save the remainder.

“It still doesn’t feel quite real. As soon as that check hits my bank account, that’s when I will finally believe this isn’t a dream,” Barnett said.

Kent County Man Wins $94,956 Fantasy 5 Prize from the Michigan Lottery

A Kent County man’s first call after winning a $94,956 Fantasy 5 prize was to his ex-wife.

James Bruno, of Ada, matched the matched the Fantasy 5 numbers drawn on Jan. 31 to win the big prize 03-09-14-21-22. He bought his winning ticket at East Paris Discount Liquor, located at 2871 East Paris Southeast in Kentwood.

Bruno was one of four jackpot winners from the Jan. 31 Fantasy 5 drawing. The Jan. 31 Fantasy 5 jackpot totaled $379,824.

“I called the winning number hotline to get the numbers,” said Bruno. “I checked my ticket right away, and when I saw it was a winner my first call was to my ex-wife, who is still a close friend. Then I called my sons and told them the good news!”

The 74-year-old player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim the big prize. With his winnings, he plans to visit his son in Alaska.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly.
