LANSING, July 25, 2006 – Craig Zudell, of Flint, won $10,000 when he scratched a winning Bingo Fever Instant ticket!

The lucky winner then took his ticket to the Lottery office in Saginaw to cash it in.  He has been playing the Lottery for 20 years and this is his largest win to date.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Short Stop Food Store, 1104 S. Elms Rd., in Flint.

The winner purchased the lucky easy pick ticket at Warren Fill-Up Inc., 22063 Ryan Rd., in Warren.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week.  Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.

LANSING, July 25, 2006 – A very lucky local business owner is $250,000 richer after he cashed a winning Mega Millions ticket.

The ticket matched all five white ball numbers, without matching the gold “Mega” ball to win the prize.

John Marko, who owns the St. Charles Bait shop, has been playing the Lottery since it began in 1972.  He and his wife Dorothy enjoy playing the Mega Millions and Classic Lotto 47 games; this is their largest win to date.

The lucky easy-pick ticket was purchased at Frank’s Super Market, 115 E. Belle Ave., in St. Charles.

The couple plan to use their prize money to pay bills.  In his spare time the lucky winner enjoys hunting and fishing.

Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery game in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.  Wagers cost $1 each and tickets may be purchased at more than 10,000 Michigan Lottery retailers statewide.

LANSING, July 18, 2006 – A very lucky Muskegon woman’s persistence finally paid off.  The regular Lottery player matched all five Fantasy 5 numbers to win a $135,360 prize!

The 58-year-old State of Michigan employee, who opted to remain anonymous, has played the Lottery since its inception in 1972. 

She was “shocked” to learn of her good fortune and immediately gave her winning own pick ticket to her sister for safe keeping.  She plans to pay bills and save the rest of her prize money.  In her free time, she enjoys gambling, gardening and yard work.

The lucky winning ticket was purchased at Sunny Mart, 1301 E. Apple Ave., in Muskegon.
