The winner, who is not a regular Lottery player, stayed up all night after he discovered his good fortune. He plans to pay bills with his prize money.

LANSING, January 4, 2007 – A very lucky Twin Lakes man is $500,000 richer this holiday season, thanks to the Michigan Lottery’s Holiday Celebration Instant ticket.

The 55-year-old regular Lottery player couldn’t believe his good fortune. After scratching the ticket at work and discovering the good news, he was shaking so badly that his co-worker thought he was having a heart attack!

The prize money will go towards bills, fly fishing trips and cutting down on his work hours.

The winning ticket was purchased at Southtown Car Wash, 832 Robbins Rd., in Grand Haven.

LANSING, January 4, 2007 – A very lucky anonymous woman and her husband claimed a $480,100 prize from the Dec. 24 Fantasy 5 drawing. The couple matched all five numbers in the game to win the prize.

The winner purchased the lucky easy pick ticket at Smoker’s Express, 52847 Hayes Rd., in Shelby Twp.

Fantasy 5 drawings are conducted seven days a week. Jackpots start at $100,000 and grow by approximately $5,000 daily.
