A Wayne County man said winning a $250,000 KENO! prize from the Michigan Lottery still feels surreal.

The lucky 50-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched 10 of the 22 numbers drawn March 28 to win the game’s $250,000 top prize. His winning numbers were: 02-10-11-20-24-45-52-63-66-73. He bought his winning ticket at Baba’s Gas & Mart Inc, located at 13605 Fenkell Street in Detroit.

“I regularly play KENO!,” said the winner. “I checked my ticket after the drawing by pulling up the winning numbers on MichiganLottery.com. When I checked off all 10 of my numbers, I had to go through and recount a few more times. My mom was the first person I told, and she went crazy over the big news! It still feels surreal.”

The player visited Lottery headquarters recently to claim his prize. He plans to save his winnings.

KENO! tickets may be purchased for $1. Players select 10 numbers from one to 80 for a chance to win prizes ranging from a free instant ticket up to $250,000. Drawings for the game take place at 7:30 p.m. seven days a week.
