A Berrien County lottery club thought their Detroit Lions Rush for Riches Fast Cash ticket was worth $50, only to find out it was the winner of a record-breaking $4.14 million Fast Cash jackpot!

“I bought several Fast Cash tickets that night because the jackpot was so high,” said a club member. “I looked this ticket over and thought it was a $50 winner, but I scanned it to double check. I got a message to file a claim at the Lottery office, so I scanned it on the Michigan Lottery app. I started shaking when $4.14 million came up on my phone screen! Winning this kind of money is life-changing.”

The two-member 126 Lottery Club bought their winning ticket at the American Legion Post 51, located at 403 East Front Street in Buchanan. Buchanan is about 70 miles southwest of Kalamazoo. The club members recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim their prize. With their winnings, they plan to build a house, take a trip to Disney, and save.

The big prize set a record for the largest prize ever won on the Fast Cash games. The previous record was set in March 2025, when a Shiawassee County man won a $2.39 million Jackpot Slots Millionaire Fast Cash prize.
