Making Millionaires: 51 Michigan Lottery Players Win Millions in 2025

All told, 51 players became millionaires in 2025 playing Lottery games. The largest prize won this year was a record $32.91 million Lotto 47 jackpot won on Dec. 13. The winning ticket was bought at Wild Bills Tobacco, located at 46518 Gratiot Avenue in Chesterfield. The big prize has yet to be claimed.

The 51 prizes of $1 million or more accounted for more than $93 million in winnings for players. Since the Lottery began in 1972, players have collected more than $58 billion in prizes.

In addition to the 51 players who claimed prizes of $1 million or more, about 220 players won prizes of at least $100,000 in 2025.
