A Michigan Lottery player is a multi-millionaire after winning a $3 million prize playing Mega Millions!

A lucky player matched the five white balls with a 3X multiplier in Friday night’s drawing to win $3 million: 01-08-11-12-57. The winning ticket was bought at JJ Land LLC, located at 4421 West Centre Avenue in Portage.

“The Mega Millions jackpot run brought excitement to Michiganders everywhere, especially the lucky player who won $3 million in Friday night’s drawing,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “In all, players in Michigan won nearly $14 million in prizes during the jackpot run.”

The lucky winner should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to claim the prize. Mega Millions prizes must be claimed within one year from the date of the drawing.

Each Mega Millions play is only $5 and includes a multiplier that can multiply prizes up to 10 times. Mega Millions is a national game with tickets sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are conducted at 11 p.m. Eastern Time on Tuesdays and Fridays in Atlanta, Georgia.
