Five lucky Michigan Lottery players have the chance to win a life-changing $1 million after being selected as finalists for the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway.
The lucky winners are:
- David Bridges, of West Olive
- David Jennings, of Oxford
- Kathryn Klein, of White Lake
- Neil MacKenzie, of Cottrellville
- Valerie Williams, of Westland
The five finalists will participate in the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway live event which will take place at Comerica Park Friday night following the Detroit Tigers game. Each contestant will wear a colored t-shirt which corresponds with a color on the prize wheel. The color that the wheel lands on will determine the winner of the $1 million grand prize. Each runner-up will receive a $5,000 prize.
Players earned entries into the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway by scanning their non-winning Electric Family tickets on the Michigan Lottery mobile app ticket scanner. The finalist drawing took place on Aug. 26 in which the five contestants were chosen at random to participate in the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway.
