One extremely happy winner claimed the fourth top prize for the $5 instant ticket, Wild Time Mania. The Grand Blanc player, who wishes to remain anonymous, left Michigan Lottery headquarters $300,000 richer on May 22!
The 19 year-old winner intends to use her new found wealth to pay off her student loans. She and her husband are also expecting their first child in July; their bundle of joy will enter the world with a college fund and a nursery full of all the necessities and a whole lot more! So this windfall came at just the right time for her and her growing family.
The winning ticket was sold by 7-Eleven 020F located at 130 Perry Rd. in Grand Blanc.
Wild Time Mania instant tickets were introduced on October 11, 2011. The game began with more than 1 million prizes totaling over $14.7 million! There are over 250,000 unclaimed prizes waiting to be won on Wild Time Mania.
Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2011, the contribution to schools was over $727.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed over $16 billion to education in Michigan.
