Home sweet home! A Wayne County man is looking forward to buying a new house after winning $414,480 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Michigan Jackpot online instant game.
“I used to play Michigan Jackpot all the time and just recently got back into playing it,” said the 66-year-old-player, who chose to remain anonymous. “I logged on to my account and had just started playing when all my numbers lit up and $414,480 came up on the screen. It was unbelievable!”
The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. With his winnings, he plans to buy a house, help others, and save for retirement.
“I’m currently in the house hunting process, so thanks to this prize I will have a nice chunk of money for a down payment,” the player said.
