
The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket at Nick’s Party Store, located at 19070 Cass Avenue in Clinton Township.
“After I scratched the ticket and realized I had matched 10 words, I wrote them all down on a piece of paper and then checked the call letters box again,” said the 50-year-old player. “After I confirmed I won, I started sobbing.”
The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. With her winnings, she plans to buy a new home.
“Winning is life changing for me. This takes so much stress off of everyday life,” said the player.
Players have won more than $19 million playing Double Bonus Cashword, which launched in August 2017.
Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
