
The player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought the winning ticket at the Fast Lane Party Store, located at 1720 Buchanan Avenue Northeast in Grand Rapids.
The 36-year-old player visited Lottery headquarters with his family on Friday to collect the big prize. With his winnings, the player plans to buy a new home for his family.
Players have won more than $16.3 million playing Hold ‘Em Poker, which launched in September 2016. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $5 million in prizes remain, including one $300,000 top prize and 30 $1,000 prizes.
Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
In 2016, Lottery players won nearly $817 million playing instant games.
