The player choose to take her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $1.3 million rather than an annuity. With her winnings, the player plans to pay some bills and put the remainder into a savings account.
Players have won more than $50 million playing Mega Money Multiplier, which launched in December. Each $20 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $20 up to $2 million. More than $24.7 million in prizes remain, including 22 $5,000 prizes, and 150 $1,000 prizes.
