The winner and his wife plan to invest most of their winnings in stocks. The winner did state that there would be $10,000 deposited into his bank account for “mad money” to use when he should need it.
The winning ticket was sold at Family FR QK STP #854 located at 2760 Port Sheldon in Jenison.
In fiscal year 2012, the Lottery’s contribution to schools was approx. $770 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $17 billion to education in Michigan.
