Kalamazoo County Woman Wins $1 Million Playing Michigan Lottery’s Deluxe 7s Playbook Instant Game

The lucky woman, who chose to remain anonymous, won the big prize on a playbook she purchased at the Sunny Liquor Store, located at 3115 South Westnedge Avenue in Kalamazoo.

The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim her big prize. She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $634,000 rather than an annuity.

With her winnings, the player plans to buy a vacation home and take a trip abroad.

Players have won more than $17.4 million playing Deluxe 7s Playbook, which debuted in August. Each $20 playbook features six pages of instant games and gives players a chance to win prizes ranging from $20 up to $1 million. More than $26.8 million in prizes remain, including: one $1 million top prize, 39 $5,000 prizes, and 1,058 $1,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.

In 2015, Lottery players won more than $722.1 million playing instant games.
