Oakland County Man Wins $4 Million Playing the Michigan Lottery’s $100,000,000 Diamonds Instant Game

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought his lucky ticket at the Redford Mini Stop, located at 26307 Grand River Avenue in Redford.

The big winner visited Lottery headquarters today to claim his prize. He chose to receive his winnings at a one-time lump sum payment of about $2.5 million rather than an annuity.

Players have won more than $116 million playing $100,000,000 Diamonds, which debuted in September 2014. Each $30 ticket gives players a chance to win prizes ranging from $30 up to $4 million. More than $83 million in prizes remain, including: 153 $4,000 prizes, and 3,366 $1,000 prizes.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.

In 2015, Lottery players won more than $722.1 million playing instant games.
