An Adrian woman is headed to Hollywood for a chance to win up to $1 million after playing the Michigan Lottery’s Wheel of Fortune second-chance game.
Laurie Whitworth will receive a five-day, four-night trip for two, including: airfare, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, a bus tour of Hollywood, and $1,000 in spending money. Whitworth also will have the chance to win up to $1 million playing a non-televised game of Wheel of Fortune hosted by Pat Sajak and Vanna White.
Whitworth won the exclusive trip by entering non-winning Wheel of Fortune ticket codes online.
Since the Lottery’s Wheel of Fortune game debuted in May, players have won more than $5.6 million. Each $2 ticket gives players a chance to win prizes ranging from $2 up to $30,000. More than $1.4 million in prizes remain, including 41 $1,000 prizes.
