Wayne County Woman Wins $300,000 Playing Michigan Lottery’s Caesars® Jackpot Instant Game

The lucky player, who chose to remain anonymous, was “totally stunned” after she scratched her Caesars Jackpot ticket and revealed a prize of $300,000. She bought her winning ticket at the 7-Eleven, located at 31403 Michigan Avenue, in Wayne.

“I stopped at 7-Eleven to grab a snack a couple tickets before my husband and I went to church Wednesday night,” said the player. “When I got home I scratched the tickets off and I couldn’t believe I had won $300,000!”

The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters Friday to claim her big prize. With her winnings, she plans to invest in her retirement, pay off her house, and take a trip with her husband.

Players have won more than $8.6 million playing Caesars Jackpot, which launched in February. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $300,000. More than $6 million in prizes remain, including seven $1,000 prizes.

The Caesars Jackpot game also offers players a second chance opportunity to win one of 10 all-expense paid trips to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Each trip will include roundtrip airfare and deluxe hotel accommodations for two at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas for five days and four nights, and $1,000 of spending money. To enter the second chance drawing, players should visit MichiganLottery.com/Caesars to enter their non-winning Caesars Jackpot tickets. There is no limit on the number of tickets a player may enter. The deadline to enter the second chance contest is May 23.

Lottery instant games may be purchased at 11,000 retailers across the state.
