Michigan Lottery Players Urged to Check Tickets to See if They Have a $1 Million Mega Millions Winner; Prize Must Be Claimed by Wednesday

MSL MegaMillions LogoMichigan Lottery players should check their tickets to see if they’re the lucky winner of a $1 million Mega Millions prize!

The winning ticket for the Aug. 5, 2014 drawing was sold at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 727 28th Street Southeast in Grand Rapids. The ticket matched the first five numbers drawn: 25-28-36-45-53.

The prize must be claimed by 4:45 p.m. Wednesday or it goes to the state School Aid Fund. Mega Millions tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.

If anyone discovers they have the winning ticket, they should contact the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at (517) 323-1737. The lucky winner must come to Lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim their prize.

If the ticket holder does not come forward, it would be the first major prize to go unclaimed in 2015. In 2014, five major prizes went unclaimed adding more than $1 million to the Michigan School Aid Fund.
