A Wayne County woman claimed a $204,954 Fantasy 5 jackpot from Sept. 25 with this $5 ticket.
Winning was twice as nice for a Wayne County woman who won a $204,954 jackpot playing the Michigan Lottery’s Fantasy 5 game, plus a $100 prize on the same ticket.
The Dearborn Heights player, who chose to remain anonymous, won her jackpot in the Sept. 25 Fantasy 5 drawing by matching the five winning numbers drawn: 05-06-14-17-18. She won an additional $100 on the same $5 ticket by matching four of the winning numbers drawn. She bought her winning ticket at Mike’s Party Store, located at 6235 North Telegraph Road in Dearborn Heights.
Fantasy 5 players have been on an incredible hot streak since early April. However, that streak will end this week if the jackpot isn’t won tonight or Saturday. The last Fantasy 5 jackpot win came on Oct. 4.
The Fantasy 5 jackpot has been won at least once per week during the streak, with more than two jackpot wins each week, on average. In total, players have won more than $8.8 million in Fantasy 5 jackpot prizes during the streak.
On Aug. 29, three lucky players split a $731,607 Fantasy 5 jackpot, the largest prize won during the streak and so far in 2014.
The winning ticket holders from the April 26, July 28, Aug. 3 and Oct. 4 Fantasy 5 drawings have yet to claim those prizes. Those winning tickets total more than $500,000 in jackpot prizes.

- July 28: $52,500 ($105,000 split between two players), bought at the BP gas station, located at 34901 Ann Arbor Trail in Livonia
- Aug. 3: $138,056, bought at the Meijer gas station, located at 7149 East Saginaw Street in East Lansing
- Oct. 4: $225,192, bought at the Meijer gas station. Located at 1703 Haggerty Highway in Commerce Township
The lucky ticket holders should contact the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to set up appointments to claim their prize. Tickets for Fantasy 5 are valid for one year from the drawing date. Prizes of more than $50,000 must be claimed at the Lottery headquarters in Lansing.
Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39. Players who match all five Fantasy 5 numbers drawn win a jackpot guaranteed to start at $100,000. Fantasy 5 drawings are held seven days a week at 7:29 p.m. Tonight’s Fantasy 5 jackpot is $199,000.
