An Oakland County man became the second player to win $2 million playing the Michigan Lottery’s $2,000,000 CA$H instant game.
The player, who chose to remain anonymous, chose to take his big prize as a one-time lump sum payment of more than $1.2 million. After taxes, he took home a check for about $897,000. He bought his lucky ticket at the Elizabeth Lake Market located at 6381 Elizabeth Lake Road in Waterford.
This marks the second time in as many weeks a player has won $2 million playing the Lottery’s $2,000,000 CA$H instant game. Last week, Denise Skonieczny, of Grand Rapids, also won $2 million after purchasing a ticket at the Meijer gas station located at 3757 Plainfield Road Northeast in Grand Rapids.
One $2 million prize remains on the Lottery’s $2,000,000 CA$H game. The popular $30 instant game gives players a chance to win prizes ranging from $30 to $2 million. Tickets may be bought at the Lottery’s 11,000 retailers.
