Fantasy 5 winner, Dawn Warf, collected her $100,000 jackpot from the Michigan Lottery Thursday.

The Michigan Lottery’s popular Fantasy 5 game continues to make dreams come true for players across the state. Over the past 12 weeks, the game’s jackpot has been won 30 times, totaling more than $4 million in prizes for players.

A lucky Novi woman was the latest to collect a Fantasy 5 jackpot on Thursday at Lottery headquarters.

Dawn Warf matched the five winning numbers – 07-12-14-18-35 – to win a $100,000 jackpot. She purchased her ticket at Langley’s Liquor and Lottery located at 1317 Dix Highway in Lincoln Park. Warf is a regular Fantasy 5 player and said she plays four sets of numbers in the game each day.

“I was checking my Daily 3 ticket on MichiganLottery.com and then decided to check my Fantasy 5 ticket too,” Warf said. “As I was looking at the numbers, I thought ‘these look really familiar.’ When I realized they were all on my ticket, I was shocked.”

Warf shared the news of her big win with her son and daughter, then called her mother and a friend.

“It took some convincing to get them to believe that I had the winning ticket. When they finally believed me, I think they were just as shocked as I was,” she said Thursday as she claimed her prize.

With her winnings, Warf plans to purchase a car for her daughter and make a down payment on a new house.

The winning ticket holders from the April 26, May 17, June 2, 21 and 22 Fantasy 5 drawings have yet to claim those prizes. The lucky ticket holders should contact the Lottery’s Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to set up an appointment to claim their prize. Tickets for Fantasy 5 are valid for one year from the drawing date. Prizes of more than $50,000 must be claimed at the Lottery headquarters in Lansing.

Each Fantasy 5 play is only $1. For an additional $1 per play, EZmatch may be added to a Fantasy 5 ticket, giving players a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Fantasy 5 players select five numbers from one to 39.
