The player from Inkster wondered one thing when he watched game shows on TV; why did the contestants scream and jump up and down when they won? He told himself, if he ever won any money, he wouldn’t do that.
True to his word, the player, who wishes to remain anonymous, was cool and calm when he discovered he had won Fantasy 5 for $131,547.
So far, the player hasn’t told anyone about his win, not even family. However, he intends to give his children some surprise gifts and will tell them about his good fortune if they wonder where the money is coming from. Also, he planned to retire in November. “Winning this money will hasten my retirement,” he said.
The winning ticket was sold at Kroger #630 located at 31300 Michigan Ave. in Westland.
