LANSING, May 10, 2011 – During the month of May, non-winning Club Keno tickets could earn Lottery players up to $10,000 in second chance winnings!
Non-winning Club Keno tickets purchased from May 9-May 31 are eligible for entry into a second chance contest on the Lottery Player’s Club Web site, www.michiganlottery.com .
To enter, players must simply enter their non-winning tickets at www.michiganlottery.com . Every dollar spent on a Club Keno ticket equals one entry into the drawing. Tickets may be entered until June 2 and on June 6 a drawing will be conducted. One winner will receive a $10,000 prize and five winners will each receive a $1,000 prize.
Over 94 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2010, the contribution to schools was $701.3 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
