LANSING, November 1, 2010 – The Michigan Lottery holiday instant tickets are on sale now! Holiday tickets are always a favorite with players. Many use them as gifts for friends and colleagues or stocking stuffers for adults in the family.

Instant tickets on sale this holiday season include Tinsel Town™ ($1); Lucky Twelves™ ($2); Tis The Season™ ($5); and Holiday Countdown™ ($10). All holiday tickets are eligible for Instant Replay™ and the $10 Holiday Countdown game includes a second chance contest to award one lucky player $500,000!

Players can enter non-winning Holiday Countdown™ instant tickets on www.michiganlottery.com for a chance to win $500,000 on the “Make Me Rich!” game show! Players must enter one non-winning Holiday Countdown™ ticket on the Player’s Club Web site. A finalist drawing conducted on December 29 will select three finalists to appear on the January 2011 episode of “Make Me Rich!” From the three finalists selected, one will win the $500,000 prize!

Over 94 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers.
