Fantasy 5 ticket about to expire!

LANSING, September 24, 2008 – A Michigan Lottery player has less than two days to turn what might become bad luck into a winning experience and a $100,000 prize!

An unclaimed Fantasy 5 ticket, worth $100,000, was sold at Cuda’s Bookstore in Dearborn for the September 26, 2008 drawing. But since the ticket expires one year from that date, time is running out. Because September 26 falls on a Saturday this year, the player has until close of business on Monday, September 28 to claim the prize.

The winning numbers for the September 26, 2008 drawing were 12-18-27-30-32.

The person holding the ticket is urged to call the Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at 517-373-1237 to schedule an appointment to claim the prize. The prize must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.

Over 95 cents of every dollar spent on Lottery tickets is returned to the state in the form of contributions to the state School Aid Fund, prizes to players and commissions to retailers. In fiscal year 2008, the contribution to schools was $740.7 million. Since its inception in 1972, the Lottery has contributed more than $15 billion to education in Michigan.
